This 2 foot by 3 foot polyester Fort Wayne City Flag, is ready to fly. The image is printed in black, red, and blue. The reverse side shows a mirror image. The white “y” represents the 3 rivers, the St. Joseph, St. Mary’s and the Maumee, and meets in a circle at the center of the flag. In the circle area is an image of a blockhouse fort in red with the city name and founding year in black. Also shown in red with black details are the Miami Natives Profile, The Fleur-de-lis, symbolic of the French, and the Rearing Lion, symbolic of the British. The three groups insignia represent the influence that each of the groups had on the area. Great for indoor display but sturdy enough for limited outdoor use.
